Mark takes on the fitting of the ducting, oil and water-cooling, radiators, cowlings and finally the propeller. Safety is the theme in our regular visit to Mark's flying school. S1/Ep11
Mark is back on familiar ground as he fits brakes, wheels and undercarriage to his aeroplane and we are introduced to a vintage Kit-Plane, the Kit Fox. S1/Ep8
The building gathers pace as Mark installs the aeroplane's cockpit module and seats. Back at Staverton Airport it's a milestone in Mark's flying progress - his first solo flight! S1/Ep7
Work on the aeroplane moves to the Tailplane and Mark gets to grips with an electronic spirit level. Back at the Flying School Mark attempts circuits and touch and go landings. S1/Ep6
Work on the plane continues and Mark receives a visit from his PFA inspector checking to see his work is air worthy. Part two sees Mark at the airport taking lessons. S1/Ep5
In the workshop work begins on the Europa's wings and Mark puts his composite skills to the test. Plus, he continues his flight training as he learns about climbing and descending. S1/Ep4
Before he starts to build his aeroplane Mark must attend a workshop on composite building techniques. Back at the workshop, Mark begins work on his kit plane. S1/Ep3
Mark travels to the Europa Factory in North Yorkshire where after seeing all the components that go into making a plane kit, he takes a test flight with the Technical Director. S1/Ep2
The final programme sees our newly built plane go through final checks for a certificate of air-worthiness. Will it pass and can Mark realise his dream of flying his own aeroplane?
