We explore a further selection of films from Irish railway enthusiasts who set out in the early and mid 1960's to capture as much of the twilight of steam in Ulster in colour as they could.
By the early 1960s, steam traction had virtually disappeared from the railways of the Irish Republic. However, it still flourished to 1964 which can be described as the Swansong of Steam in Ireland.
